Celebrating Pentecost

Today is the Day of Pentecost, historically the "birthday of the Church." On this day, we celebrate the blessing of the Holy Spirit on the disciples, their ability to communicate the Gospel in the languages of the world, and the thousands who accepted the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and his resurrection.

We invite you to celebrate with us :

  • Join us for worship on Facebook Live at 11:00 a.m., and wear red! Red is the liturgical color that symbolizes the power of the Holy Spirit in, among, and through us.
  • Following worship, meet us on Zoom for "Holy Grounds," our virtual coffee hour. This is a wonderful opportunity to see faces that you maybe haven't seen since we suspended in-person gatherings.
  • Plan to join our sister churches in our conference-wide Pentecost Sing at 4:00 p.m., also on Zoom. The meeting ID is 872 1447 3923. The password is 511790. This is a chance to be in fellowship and celebration with our Lutheran siblings across the county on this festival day!
