Beginning Stained Glass Class
Stained Glass has been a cherished art form for more than 1000 years.
Prior to the invention of tools that make it easy for modern artisans, apprentices
trained under proficient craftsmen to learn the trade.

In the 21st century, up-to-date tools make it easy to learn the rewarding craft of stained glass.  During this hands-on class, you will learn all the skills necessary to  complete a stained glass panel using the copper foil technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany.  Each student will complete a  9" x 14" panel, including framing with a rigid metal border.

Every class session is filled with fun as you learn to select glass, cut & fit, foil, solder, frame and polish your artwork.  We don't have to
teach you to admire it and beam with pride, that comes naturally!

Please visit harmony prior to class to select and prepare your pattern.

Harmony Jewelry Club is a series of workshops that provide the chance to learn additional techniques, stay in practice creating jewelry, and be in the company of fellow creatives.  It is designed for those who have completed the Intro to Jewelry Club series.  At the beginning of each workshop day, Angela will teach a technique for 30 minutes.  Then you are free to work independently on your projects and share knowledge with other members.

We hope that the years ahead will be full of enjoyment and beautiful jewelry work.  It's especially satisfying to hear someone say "Your necklace is beautiful.  Where did you get it?" and be able to say "Thank-you.  I am a jewelry artist and I made it myself".  You'll also be able to gift wonderful hand-crafted jewelry.
Everyone will want to be your friend!

It would be generous of you to bring some of the projects you completed in your Intro to jewelry Club sessions.  New students will love seeing what their future holds.

A lot of people in our community have asked us to teach more detailed jewelry classes such as the woven pendant shown above.  These kinds of classes require previous experience, a minimum of a full day of instruction and completion of the work at home.  In addition, they are often very expensive and not offered locally.

In order to develop this kind of experience and bring more advanced classes to you right here at Harmony, we have created the opportunity for a series of workshops called the Harmony Jewelry Club.  Meetings will be once a month for six months, with skills that build from one class to the next, all at an affordable price point.  We request that tools and materials be purchased at Harmony.

Remember - creating is  even more fun when you bring a friend!

Youghiogheny Samples
GREAT NEWS!  BULLSEYE GLASS IS NOW INCLUDED IN THE SPECIAL PRICING PROMOTION!

To help you achieve your artistic goals, we've adopted new pricing (about 20-30% lower) on Uroboros, Bullseye and Youghiogheny art glass.  These are the brands that tend to be more expensive and some people avoid them for that reason.  In both warm and cold glass, we've re-priced these two brands.
Our long-term plan is that the lower price will lead to more turnover and we will be able to stock a wider selection from these two manufacturers.  We look forward to seeing you select glass for your next project and putting Uroboros in the window right next to Spectrum because the low price makes it more accessible.

Because of the extremely low price, these brands won't apply toward nor receive a discount on our standard policy of 10% off on $100 glass purchase. When you see the new prices, we don't think you'll mind.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
