Erik Kindem and members of the Peace Lutheran Creation Care Team will explore ways to connect the dots between our worship life and the natural world, as well as offer practical actions for daily life.

Global Mission

Our Savior’s has a long history of supporting refugees and extending a helping hand to others overseas in need. Due to the impoundment of federal assistance to refugees and financial support, OSLC is developing a working to actively address these issues.

We are in the process of evaluating projects for financial support and visitation. We are in touch with Lutheran Community Services Northwest to see how we can best support their refugee efforts. We have been working with Global Refuge to see how we can assist their efforts to help repatriate deported minor children.

For information about the topics below, please contact Dan Clements 425.418.8755 or Chang Choi 206.618.7954.

Poem for Lent

Holy One, I am tired.

Tired of the incessant chatter of bad news.

Tired of asking over and again, "is this real?"

Tired of wondering who will be next.

Tired of seeing families in fear.

Tired of gross lies dressed up as truth.

Tired of being angry at injustice.

Tired of the feeling helplessness.

Holy One, calm my fears,

soothe my hurt, renew my strength,

then send me to do the work of setting the world on fire with your Love.

Amen

by Episcopal Bishop Deon K. Johnson
