Talk about creating opportunities for great – and healthy – family fun! After taking a break due to COVID, Helena’s premier health and wellness event for kids is back on Saturday August 13 from 8:30 AM till noon at Helena’s Centennial Park and Great Northern Town Center. “Our mission is to provide a free day filled with fun events and activities for families and kids in our community,” said event coordinator Shari Hagengruber. “The day begins with a one-mile fun run in Centennial Park followed by a health and wellness fair in the Great Northern Town Center.” Brought to you by St. Peter’s Health and PacificSource Health Plans, the health fair features over 30 outdoor booths with games, activities and prizes. “Those who register online by August 1, will receive a free t-shirt allowing them free admission into the Great Northern Carousel and ExplorationWorks during the event,” said Hagengruber. “Those who haven’t pre-registered are still invited to join in on the fun!” To register go to sphealth.org.
