Right at Home of Central New Jersey has been offering since 2016 free cultural competency training sessions to assisted living facilities, rehab centers, long term care facilities and senior centers focused on working with their older adult population on challenging issues.
To continue our tradition of working with older adults and supporting more training and education focused on working with the community, we invite you all to attend a discussion sponsored by Right at Home of Central New Jersey entitled "Race, Religion and Sexuality in Long Term Care" presented by Garland Law Offices.
The discussion will be presented on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at The Chelsea at The Solana Marlboro. Participants will learn to identify how care may be delivered and impacted based on one's beliefs, how to diffuse tensions between care recipients, caregivers and families, and how to provide resources for assistance if needed.
