Dear Friend,
Over the past several months, we have had the privilege of meeting so many of our fellow Virgin Islanders in churches, neighborhoods, businesses, community events, and around kitchen tables across our islands.
Those conversations have reminded us why we entered public service in the first place and why we are running for Governor and Lieutenant Governor today.
We have heard from parents worried about the future their children will inherit. We have listened to seniors concerned about healthcare and the rising cost of living. We have heard the frustration of families and businesses struggling with unreliable power and rising utility costs. We have spoken with workers, entrepreneurs, teachers, nurses, and young people who love these islands and simply want a government that works for them.
Most of all, we have heard a desire for leadership that listens, leadership that delivers, and leadership that never forgets who it serves. We all deserve change we can see and feel.
That is why we would like to personally invite you to join us at one of our upcoming General Meetings.
Whether you have supported us from the beginning or are just getting to know our campaign, we would love the opportunity to meet you personally, hear what is on your mind, answer your questions, and talk about the future we can build together.
This campaign is built on a simple belief: the future of the Virgin Islands will not be shaped by politicians alone. It will be shaped by the people who live here, work here, raise families here, and believe that our best days are still ahead.
That is what it means to be People Powered.
Before we close, please remember that July 2 is the deadline to register as a Democrat or change your party affiliation in order to vote in the Democratic Primary on August 1. If you support our vision for the Virgin Islands, please make sure you are registered and ready to vote.
The decisions made in this election will help shape the future of our beloved home for years to come, and we hope you will be part of that journey with us.
