Elm Lane Bridge Opens On Time
One year to the day it closed, the new bridge on Elm Lane over Interstate 485 opened on Aug. 31. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held to mark the occasion, with representatives from NCDOT and the prime contractor in attendance.
Around The Crown 10k Is Back On I-277
This 10k run first appeared in 2019, closing Charlotte streets and the I-277 inner loop. The race is back this year, and NCDOT has been working with public and private partners to make it safe for drivers and participants.
