We hope to see everyone at our socially distant Farewell Parade tomorrow, Friday, June 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. To help us with traffic, please plan to arrive on the quarter hour that works best for your family: 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, or 9:45 a.m. While we anticipate the main entrance being open, there's a chance active construction will force all traffic through our exit. Therefore, when you arrive, please follow all road construction signs and the guidance of an off-duty police officer, who will be helping us direct traffic.
Once on campus, please follow the marked parade route. Faculty and staff from the entire school will be positioned along the route to greet families. They are so excited to see you and have some fun ways to say hello, wave, give air hugs, and share their love. If you'd like to explore your own creative way to say farewell, go for it! Decorate your car. Make posters. Build a playlist for the ride. Have fun!
In all the excitement, we remain committed to safety. We will be following social distancing guidelines during the parade, remaining at least 6 feet apart from each other and wearing cloth face coverings. To protect the safety of our entire school community, we kindly ask you do the same, as appropriate. Thank you for also following these safety guidelines:
- Take it slow! The posted speed limit in our parking lot is 5 mph.
- Remain in your car and keep children safely buckled at all times. If you have to stop suddenly for any reason, you'll want your own children to be safely fastened in their car seat, booster seat, or seatbelt. Please also use the restroom before you arrive, as our buildings will be closed.
- Ignore your cell phone. When driving in our parking lot and whenever there are children present, please never be on your phone or on any type of device.
- Use our designated table for gifts. In the event your family would like to leave a card or student drawing for an individual faculty member, please clearly label the item with the teacher's name and leave it on the designated table at the front of the parade route. This enables a contact-free exchange between families and faculty.
If you have any questions leading up to our Farewell Parade, please don't hesitate to
. We look forward to seeing you!
