A Blue Christmas Service is offered especially for those hurting during the holidays, whether from personal grief or from dismay at the continuing violence in our world. It’s often offered December 21, which is the longest night of the year.

This is an opportunity to reflect on Jesus' coming into the world in a prayerful and serious way, without easy answers, for those who aren't ready to rush into joy.

We gather in the midst of these challenges to remember that we are not alone and that God is near.

We invite you to join us on December 24th at 4:30 for our Christmas Eve service and candle lighting, with Rev. Charlie Hartman and Beverly Rathbun offering special music on the clarinet and piano.

This is a most holy night, a meeting place of heaven and earth, and we are excited to celebrate God's willingness to dwell among us.

Our service will be filled with music, prayer, and reflection, and we will end the evening by lighting candles. Please come and share in the joy and wonder of this special night with us. All are welcome.
