@ Community This Sunday

As we gather together as a community, let us remember the strength that comes from unity and fellowship. Let's continue to cultivate a sense of togetherness, kindness, and empathy, knowing that we are stronger when we stand united in faith. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positivity in each other's lives and in the wider community. Let's embrace this spirit of community and love as we journey forward together. Remember, when we come together, we can accomplish great things!

Dear members of our congregation,

It is with great joy and gratitude that we write to you today to express our heartfelt thanks for the new church banners that have been recently installed. These beautiful banners not only add a touch of elegance to our worship space, but also serve as a powerful symbol of our faith and commitment to our community.

As we gather in worship and prayer each week, let us be reminded of the love and grace that surrounds us, and the many blessings that we have been given. May these banners serve as a constant reminder of our faith and our commitment to one another, now and always.

Thank you once again to all who made these banners possible. You have truly made a difference in the life of our church, and we are blessed to have you as part of our community.

Weekly Prayer

praise_the_lord.jpg

I know

that when the stress has grown too strong,

you will be there.

I know

that when the waiting seems so long,

you hear my prayer.

I know

that through the crash of falling worlds

you're holding me.

I know

that life and death are yours

eternally.

Faithful Reflections: Excerpts from Scripture

Finding Strength in Philippians 4:13

In times of uncertainty and challenge, we often seek sources of strength and encouragement. In Philippians 4:13, we find the words, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." These powerful words remind us that through our faith, we have the capacity to navigate life's trials and triumphs with resilience and grace.

As we reflect on this scripture, let us find solace in the knowledge that we are not alone in our journey. With the presence of God's strength within us, we can face each day with courage and unwavering hope. Let's draw inspiration from Philippians 4:13 as we continue to support and uplift one another as a resilient and compassionate community.

May this verse serve as a guiding light, reminding us of the boundless strength and grace available to us through faith.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Children's Prayer-Ground at the back of our sanctuary! We understand that attending religious services with young children can sometimes be challenging, as they may become restless and need a space of their own. That's why we have created a special area in the back of the sanctuary just for them. The Children's Prayer-Ground offers a safe and welcoming environment for children to play and explore while still allowing their parents or guardians to fully participate in the service. We believe that this addition will enhance the overall experience for families and create a more inclusive and engaging worship environment. We invite all families with young children to take advantage of this new feature and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our community.

Join us for our upcoming four-Sunday adult education series, "Life Together: On Kindness." In this enriching series, we'll delve into the profound impact of kindness within our community and beyond. Together, we'll explore how practicing kindness can strengthen our connections, foster empathy, and create a more compassionate world. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of kindness and its role in our lives. Mark your calendars and join us for Life Together: On Kindness

Here at The Community Church of Providence we encourage children to be an active part of worship! Sunday school for children is held during service. If you're looking for a fun and engaging way to get your kids involved in church activities, Sunday School is the perfect place to start. Join us Sunday and see what your child can create!
