Come for Communion!
Sundays, 8:30 am & 10 am
With the lifting of restrictions and some creativity on behalf of your GRO Taskforce, we’re pleased to announce that we will be adding the distribution of communion (in bread only; using a host dispenser, 6’ away from the clergy) to our Outdoor and Drive-In Church services. Since space is limited at Drive-In Church, be sure to continue making reservations (since there's plenty of space in the sun yard, reservations are no longer required for Outdoor Church).
“Mature” Fellowship!
Thursday, May 20, 11:30 am
If you’re a “mature” parishioner and ready to be together in-person again, consider joining the XYZ (eXtra Years of Zest) or Aging Gracefully groups. XYZers will meet in the church parking lot on Thursday, May 20, at 11:30 am to arrange transport to a local café for their monthly lunch gathering. Aging Gracefully will be choosing a book to read and discuss soon! For more info on either group, email Connie McIntire or call (760)753-4946.
Youth Worship
Sunday, May 9, 10 am
Encourage your teen to join us for Youth Worship this Sunday (and all 2nd and 4th Sundays). We will meet during Drive-In Church on the labyrinth. If you have questions, please email Constance.
Young Adult Bible Study
Tuesday, May 11, 7:30 pm
If you're a young adult, you're invited to a rousing Bible study via Zoom the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month. If you are interested, please email Rev. Richard and he will share the Zoom link.
Episcobasics & Adult Confirmation
Sundays, 11:30 am-12:30 pm, April 25 - May 16
Everyone’s invited to brush up on all things Episcopalian in this fun, informative, four-week course via zoom (or remain online after our coffee conversation). The class is required for adults desiring confirmation, reception or renewal into the Episcopal Church, but all are welcome. The ceremony with Bishop Susan will take place on May 23rd. Contact Mother Brenda with any questions.
Outdoor Church with
Congregational Responses!
Sundays, 8:30 am
Under our Bishop’s new guidelines, we can now include congregational responses and we’ll celebrate the Holy Eucharist! Bring a lawn chair and meet us in the sun yard (no reservation needed). You'll find the bulletin here.
Drive-In Church
Sundays, 10 am
Join us in the parking lot, in the safety of your own car, for a 30-minute, joyful celebration complete with hymns and Holy Eucharist. Parking spaces are limited, so please reserve here. You'll find the bulletin here.
Online Church
Available after 6 am Sundays
If you prefer not to attend church on campus, join us online for the liturgy of the Holy Eucharist. You'll find the bulletin and video on our website.
Zoom Coffee Conversation
Sundays, 11:15 - 11:30 am
Whether you watch the video online or attend in-person, plan to join us at our Zoom Coffee Conversation. Besides being a great way to be in community, we also share takeaways from the worship service and how our faith journey might be impacted from those insights. Remain online to participate in the Episcobasics class.
Deep Dive Book Group
Wednesdays, 7 pm
Join us via zoom to explore the intersections of prayer, scripture, and history through the book Teach Us to Pray: The Lord's Prayer in the Early Church and Today. Read chapters 7 & 8 for May 12th.
