We are sending our well wishes at this difficult time to all of our friends, sponsors, donors, volunteers and their families who have supported us for nearly 10 years.
Our mission at Sailing Heals has always been to take care of each other in challenging times. Now, more than ever, it's important we come together as a community to do this. Showing compassion and care for, not only patients, caregivers, health care workers and our friends, family and neighbors, but all people, is what we are about!
Due to these unprecedented times and for the safety of everyone,
- We are suspending all events until at least the end of June, 2020.
- Our Spring Fundraiser and auction, Sail Me to the Moon!, scheduled for April 16th will also be postponed. Date to be announced.
Introducing Toss-A-Line, our virtual mission!
We all need a bit of extra hope and time to take care of ourselves, our families and our loved ones, near and far. Extra caution and kindness is especially important now.
That’s why we’re introducing our
Toss-A-Line
which is our way to “live our mission”…virtually.
If you know of someone “tied in” with our program, either a VIP, a host captain, a volunteer or donor, or a close friend
that needs a lift,
(it doesn't have to be related to cancer; just someone who is going through a tough time with illness or extended isolation right now) Sailing Heals would love to reach out to them with a random kindness and a sense of connection. For more on T

We also plan to post more wonderful photos and videos from our past healing sails and events on our Facebook and Instagram pages so please follow us there. We invite you to send in your boating videos or photos and thoughts on your boating experiences as well.
With your support and with a little collective luck, we’ll be back on the other side of this storm cloud with full sails to offer more joyful Sailing Heals experiences to people in need of a healing break, and hopefully, for years to come.
