Come Join Us at Gov. Ricketts Signing LB814 into Law!
8-14-20
PTL FOR ANOTHER GREAT VICTORY YESTERDAY! LB814 End Dismemberment Abortion received 33 yes votes after Final Reading floor debate on 8-13-20. This bill will now be signed into law by Governor Pete Ricketts tomorrow, 8-15-20, at 11 a.m. on the north steps of the Nebraska State Capitol! Come join us at this historic event to protect pre-born babies in Nebraska!
OUR FINAL ACTION STEP:
Please contact these Senators and tell them:
A. Thank you for voting YES on LB814 general file
B. Please get some well-deserved rest & relaxation with your family after the multiple battles of the last 17 days of this legislative session.
Here is the list of senators to contact. Remember, the most important person for a senator to hear thank you from is one of their constituents.
Senator Albrecht Senator Gragert Senator Moser
Senator Arch Senator Groene Senator Murman
Senator Blood Senator Halloran Senator Quick
Senator Bostelman Senator Ben Hansen Senator Scheer
Senator Brandt Senator Hilgers Senator Slama
Senator Brewer Senator Hilkemann Senator Stinner
Senator Briese Senator Hughes Senator Walz
Senator Clements Senator Kolterman Senator Williams
Senator Crawford Senator La Grone
Senator Dorn Senator Lindstrom
Senator Erdman Senator Linehan
Senator Friesen Senator Lowe
Senator Geist Senator McDonnell
Unfortunately, Senator Carol Blood had a meltdown and change of heart during floor debate and then changed her previous YES vote to ‘Present – Not Voting’. Her constituents will be dismayed and disappointed at many of the words she spoke, especially when she said, “I hate that I’m Catholic” before she changed her vote.
THANK YOU FOR INVESTING YOUR TIME & ENERGY TO CONTACT THESE SENATORS!
Watch for Minuteman Announcements about upcoming ‘Legislature 101 Boot Camp Workshops’ as we head into the autumn season. These are hosted FREE with a guest lecture from either Lt. Governor Mike Foley or the local conservative Nebraska State Senator who shares the key details for a citizen’s idea to become a state law!
