Video chat with William and Virginia Packwood, authors of Two Revolutionary War Privateers

Unable to travel at this time, the Packwoods will join us for a live Face-time video conversation at the Custom House to discuss their new book on two New London privateers. Seating will be extremely limited for this special event. Please register by calling 860-447-2501.

William and Joseph Packwood of New London were Connecticut sea captains actively involved in the American Revolutionary War. This unusual book relays the captains' stories in real time through a remarkable trove of primary materials: original letter, manifests, etc., found in Yale archives, the NLCHS, and the Custom House.
