Storybook Land Festival is Friday & Saturday
The annual Storybook Land Festival will kick off Friday night!

Starting at 5 p.m., visitors can purchase wristbands for $7, good for unlimited rides that evening until 8:30 p.m. All rides within Storybook Land are included.

From 6:30-8:30 p.m., Mr. Bubbler will be strolling in the park. At 7 p.m., Storybook Land Theatre will perform on the Castle stage.
At dusk, the movie “Jurassic Park” will be shown. The movie, sponsored by NVC, will be shown in the grassy area west of the Storybook Land parking lot.

On Saturday, the festival begins at 10 a.m. with a full day of activities all around Storybook Land and in the castle.

Musical performances by Duke Otherwise happen at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the castle.

Author Bruce Arant will take the stage at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Throughout the park, you will find tents full of things to do: percussion zoo, theatre games, and art activities. In addition, Mr. Bubbler, magician Noah Sonie and jugglers Incapable Hands will be roaming in the park.

The festival concludes at 4:30 p.m.

Storybook Land Festival is co-sponsored by Aberdeen Parks, Recreation & Forestry, Aberdeen Area Arts Council, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library and Sertoma Club.  Additional support is provided by Aberdeen Hotel Alliance, South Dakota Arts Council, NVC, and the Fraternal Order of Police.
