A Word from the Pastor
Sunday Worship
8:30 a.m. Outdoor
10 a.m. in Sanctuary & on Facebook
One of the things that people often do at the dinner table is tell stories…not just for something to do while eating, but because stories are important parts of the communion, the fellowship and remembrance. When we eat together at the Lord’s table we are engaged in storytelling. This Sunday we will share in Sunday Dinner and hear Jesus tell us the wonderful “I Am” story that he is the Bread of Life. All are invited to Sunday Dinner this week, whether online, outdoors, or in the Sanctuary. Find us on Facebook at St. Paul's United Methodist Church-Rochester.

Pairings: Mary of Nazareth+Mary Magdalene Sisters in Blood
Mary of Nazareth and Mary Magdalene share names and love for Jesus, but they were otherwise worlds apart. This pair came together as witnesses-- first, of Jesus’s bloody crucifixion, and second, his resurrection. They weren’t sisters by blood, but they became sisters in blood. Tune in to consider the mystery of Christ’s unitive power in your life.

Thank You!
Dear St. Paul's Family,
There aren’t enough words to express our appreciation for the special worship service, program, and reception to honor my 9 years as Senior Pastor at St. Paul’s. The music was amazing, and the tributes were so special. We were overwhelmed by your gifts and generosity.  Sara, Ryan, and I are so grateful for all the love and support that we have received along the way.  We carry with us many cherished memories of our time with all of you. Our special thanks goes to the church staff and Staff Parish Relations Committee for all their planning.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. David, Sara, and Ryan Eardley

Afghan Resettlement Need
Vehicle Needed
Do you have a good, reliable vehicle, (prefer and SUV), that you are no longer using and wondering how to dispose of it? Why not donate that vehicle and take a nice healthy tax deduction next year? The REASA team is in the process of finding transportation for the Hashimi family as the next phase of their resettlement here in Rochester. Our goal is to conserve the available support funds for housing, food, medical and educational needs. If you have a vehicle that might fit our needs, please contact Larry Hice. You can also continue to support the family by making a donation to the Resettlement fund. Write "Afghan Resettlement" in the memo line and we will get it to the right place.
