THE COMICS OF
LATE-NIGHT TV

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH AT 8:00 PM

St. Pete’s Palladium Theater has been a local favorite in Tampa Bay since its doors opened in 1998. The Palladium continuously looks for local artists to feature and to create cultural programs for the community.  The Palladium Theater hosts affordable concerts and events that showcase the performing arts, education and culture, and film programs in Tampa Bay.  The Palladium’s newest producers include Tom Gribbin and Jon LaBudde, two locals who have been founding members of the community for the past 40 years.
In the 80’s, Tom Gribbin and his band, the Saltwater Cowboys, were quite popular in town. From mixing country, rock, and Caribbean style music, the band attracted many locals. One of these locals was real estate developer and promoter Jon LaBudde.  While both Gribbin and LaBudde were both successful in their careers, their true passions lied with planning and hosting comedy concerts. After Gribbin’s rock days, he held an executive position at Big3 Entertainment and the Mahaffey Theater. He also co-founded Coconuts Comedy Clubs, which produced both comedy and music concerts.
LaBudde has an advising and business background and has worked with Jannus Live, is the owner of Reno Beach Surf Shop, and is a partner with The Big Catch at Salt Creek.  These two friends have now joined forces to launch 5 Arts Entertainment company, whose comedy concerts will be hosted at Palladium Theater. With Gribbin as an expert performer, and LaBudde as an experienced business professional, these two truly make an epic duo.
Come support Gribbin and LaBudde at their first show, “The Comics of Late-Night TV,” on September 30th at the Palladium Theater. More information and tickets can be found here
