July 2022
Located midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, Kenosha is both ideally located and suitably filled with fun activities for family and friends who are reconnecting this summer. It’s also where cars manufactured in Kenosha come home for a big celebration. Visit Kenosha joins the Kenosha History Center in welcoming AMC collectors and fans from around the world to our community later this month.
In 1902, Thomas Jeffery started producing the Rambler automobile in Kenosha. This was the second mass assembly car ever made. It was the start of a 108-year history of automobile manufacturing and engine assembly in Kenosha. The Kenosha History Center produces a week of festivities including a swap meet, parade, and block party on July 29 and the large car show and swap meet at Kennedy Park on July 30. It’s believed that there is no larger AMC show in the world! DETAILS>
