Our Travel AAU Basketball program is for all players looking to develop their skills on a more competitive level. This program promotes teamwork, friendship, hard work, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. We always provide professional coaching and challenge our players to become not only better players but better people. Our core teaching methods help build team offensive and defensive schemes, skill development, teamwork, and basic fundamentals. Our number one priority is to improve the game of each player and teach how to play structured team basketball. Season/Team Details  
  • Season runs November-early February
  • For Boys and Girls Grades 2-8
  • Teams practice twice a week and play in 6 one day tournaments during the weekend (Sat or Sun)
  • Monday and Wednesday Practices in November and December. Mondays and Thursdays in January early February. Practices from 5-9:15PM. Grades 2-4 from 5-6:25PM. Grades 5-6 from 6:25-7:50PM. Grades 7-8 from 7:50-9:15PM. Practices take place at the Winnetka Community House and Winnetka Bible Church.
  • No practice or games over holidays 11/20-11/26, 12/23-1/7
  • All teams play on the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) / Travel circuit and will play in either the (A) or (B) division among the tournaments. Teams will consist of 8-11 players per team and are divided into (A) Orange and (B) Black/White.
  • Teams will play six weekend tournaments either Saturday or Sunday 3 games 
  • All the tournaments are 20min-1hr from Winnetka. 
  • Potential tournament weekend dates are 12/3-12/4, 12/10-12/11,  12/16-12/17, 1/14-1/15, 1/20-1/21, 1/28-1/29, 2/4-2/5, 2/10-2/11

New Trier Girls Feeder Basketball is for players looking to develop their skills on a more competitive level. New Trier Feeder Basketball program promotes teamwork, friendship, hard work, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. We always provide professional coaching and challenge our players to become not only better players but better people. This program allows the players to get accustomed to New Trier Basketball. Our core teaching methods help build team offensive and defensive schemes, skill development, teamwork, and basic fundamentals. Our number one priority is to improve the game of each player and teach how to play structured team basketball.   • For Girls 7-8th Grade who are residents of Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Northfield, & Kenilworth. 
  • Teams practice twice a week
    for 1.5hrs
  • No practice or games over holidays 11/24-11/26, 12/23-1/7
  • All teams play in the Northern Illinois Girls Feeder Basketball Association (NIGFBA). Team will also play in 3-4 feeder tournaments. Teams will consist of 10-12 players per team and 2 teams per grade.
  • Teams are divided into (A) Blue and (B) Green.
  • Teams compete against other high school feeder programs in either the A or B division. The league is the Northern Illinois Girls Feeder Basketball Association (NIGFBA). League games begin in January. 
  • Teams will play 3-4 weekend feeder tournaments in either the A or B divisions. Tournaments include the end of the season NIGFBA league tournament  
  • All games and tournaments are 20min-1hr from Winnetka.

Season/Team Details
  • Season starts early November and finishes with a conference tournament the 1st weekend in March.
    *Kids with fall travel conflicts, as well as house tackle football are allowed to participate. 
  • The program is for boys in 3rd-5th grade living in Wilmette School Districts 37 and 39. 
  • There will one team for 3rd grade and two teams for 4th and 5th grade. Teams are divided in A (Green) & B (White).  
  • Teams have 2 practices a week in Wilmette and surrounding locations. Each practice is 1.5hrs. Practices begin 10/15 
  • Wolves play in the community based travel league, the North Suburban Basketball League (NSBL) www.northsuburbanbasketball.com 
  • No practice or games over holidays 11/24-11/26, 12/23-1/7
  • Each team plays in 16 Conference games, 1-2 local tournaments, possibly a pre-season exhibition game, and the conference tournament. Approximately 20-26 games. Most games are on Saturday and Sunday. 1-2 per weekend.
