Local History Month Continues
It's Local History Month! To celebrate, we're posting things all month long from our Local History Collection on our social media. During the late 1800s oil boom, Bradner was a bustling center for business and leisure activities. These pictures show one of the town’s main intersections (N. Main & Crocker), where the Bradner Hotel and the Stephens Building once stood. The Bradner Hotel was a fine lodging venue, while the Stephens Building was one of the first brick business buildings in Bradner. It housed the Tri-County National Bank and Stephen’s Dry Goods Store. It also had meeting rooms and a large event hall on the second floor, which were owned by the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.).
