Here's a new album from one of reggae's most dynamic voices, whose strong, insightful lyrics blend elements of Mutabaruka, Tracey Chapman and early Erykah Badu. The critically acclaimed artiste, returns with her third full length album entitled Note To Self. The songs create a narrative of Jah9's journey from self awareness to accountability, with atmospheric textures and exciting melodies, propelled by reggae riddims and conscious lyrics. Her quest to encourage and share the gifts of spiritual awakening sets the tone for the project. The album features appearances from top reggae performers Tarrus Riley, Chronixx, Pressure Busspipe and others. Jah9 is on a mission to heal, nourish, and grow through her powers as a woman and an artiste, Note To Self is both the result and the starting point of that mission.
