New Lending Library for the Mulberry Children's Center

The Family Ministries Team at Mulberry is excited to offer a Lending Library to the 3K class at the Mulberry Children’s Center. The Lending Library is each Thursday at 10:00 in the daycare. Our volunteers bring the mobile library cart downstairs and help the children choose two books to take home to read with their families. Each child has received a personalized “book satchel” in which they place their two library books. The books on the library cart are a collection of Old and New Testament Bible stories from our Mulberry Sunday School as well as books that have been donated by families and circles. The books are appropriate for young children that are pre readers.

If your family would like to donate any gently used Bible Story books, we would love to have them. Our team of librarians includes Carol Stalvey, Mary Anne Gaudry, Anne McCrary, Nita Smith, Cecile Mitchell, Debbie Heller, Melissa Anderson, and Mildred Howard. Julia Magda and Erin Darley are our faithful team leaders and encouragers. It is a blessing to spend time weekly and share our love of books, Jesus and children. If you would like to join our team or donate any books, please notify Nita Smith at smithevelyn248@gmail.com or 478-361-3928.

Together we are sharing the heart of God...

2023 Stewardship Campaign

September 17-October 8

Our 2023 Stewardship Campaign will focus on how, at Mulberry, “We Are Healers.“ We are spending these three weeks telling the story of Mulberry and how your giving makes a difference as we live out our mission. You’ll also hear about our new “shared rhythms” of weekly worship, weekly discipleship, monthly service, and monthly giving. These are rhythms that we as members adopt in order to grow in our faith, our relationship with our church family, and our capacity to serve our community. Learn more at mulberrymethodist.org/stewardship.
