All hands on deck for the Holiday Fair, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 9:00 - 2:00. This is the church's biggest fundraiser of the year. We need donations - attic treasures, books, CDs and DVDs, jewelry, purses, scarves, good quality toys, Christmas decorations, baked goods. We also need volunteers - to work at the event and to take responsibility for various rooms. To donate, volunteer or just obtain more information, contact Louise Beecher at 203-928-7483, or at [email protected]
As a reminder of how much fun the Fair is, check out this short video of a fair of yore!

Christmas Flower Envelopes can be found in the pews. Please return them in the weekly collection plate or to the office by December 16.

Giving Tree – The Covenant to Care Giving Tree is up … and available for you to take a card off the tree and fulfill a wish of a child in need. Each card has a name, age, gender and wish list as a guide to help you. All your gifts are driven to New Haven and given directly to the child you have picked. Please be sure to put the child’s name on the gift(s). Remember gift cards from Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, CVS, Old Navy, etc. are always appreciated by the kids because it gives them the opportunity to shop themselves. The moms can use a little pampering too, if you have time to pick up an extra gift card for them.  We’d like all gifts returned to the church by December 16.  Thank you in advance for supporting another season with this very worthy cause! Feel free to call me with any questions. God Bless ~ Trish Arida. 203-421-0474.

Business matters . . .
New Building Security System.  We are in the process of implementing a new security procedure to enhance church security for parishioners, students, staff and visitors.   Starting in early December security for the north and south entrance doors to the church offices and preschool building will be controlled by electronic door access, keypad access and camera/video intercom monitoring.  During regular business hours, you will need to press the doorbell button on the intercom device to be “buzzed in.” Senor Warden Gary Naegel offered brief comments last Sunday during the announcements.

STOP and SHOP CARDS. The purchase of Stop & Shop cards provides an additional opportunity, over and above our pledging, to help support St. Andrew's while you buy your groceries. 5% of all card purchases go directly to St. Andrew's when paid for with cash or a personal check. Buy Stop & Shop cards after each service or during the week in the church office. We do accept Visa, Master Card and Discover but then we only net about 2 1/2% for St. Andrew's.
