Celebrating Pride Month: Decorating Rainbow Cupcakes & Reading Stories that Celebrate Being Different (grades K-4)
Let’s celebrate our diversity and individuality with stories and cupcakes! We’ll start INSIDE sharing stories such as Jessica Love’s Julian is a Mermaid and Todd Parr’s It’s Okay to be Different. Then, we’ll decorate cupcakes with festive rainbow candies (masks required during cupcake decorating). When we’re ready to eat our cupcakes, we’ll head outside to the yard and eat, together, with another story, in the fresh air.
