To help businesses post-panemdic, a new Business Opportunity stabilization grant is open now through June 13th with awards up $15,000. Most businesses in WCBID meet eligibility criteria based on the eligible NAICS codes, and the grant prioritizes businesses in hardhit areas like West Colfax and Sun Valley in the evaluation process.

To qualify businesses must show only a 10% loss of gross revenue for any 90 day period before pre-pandemic (March 2020) compared to the same 90 day period post-pandemic (after March 2020). As an example the comparison could be a loss comparing December 2019-February 2020 versus December 2020-February 2021. Options for documenting 10% loss include sales tax reports, POS, financial statements, and tax returns.   Note that in addition reporting of prior grants and forgivable loans is required.

This City grant of ARPA funds will be administered by Mile High United Way. More details and grant application here: The Business Impact Opportunity Program. Feel free to direct any questions to Dan Shah as well as the United Way team.

Applications are now open and close at 5 p.m. (MST) on June 13, 2022.
