Sarah-Hannah Herman, City College ’22, has dedicated her life to standing up for the wrongfully convicted. Her own familiarity with economic injustice propels her to work diligently toward more equitable outcomes for the marginalized. As a Skadden Arps Legal Scholar and Colin Powell Fellow, she plans to utilize all the lessons she’s learning and one day make policy as a lawyer.
Sarah-Hannah’s advice: “Apply to every single opportunity that piques your interest even if you’re afraid you won’t get it. You’ll be surprised at how many opportunities you’ll miss out on if you don’t.”
