Welcome to Spring! This month we’re looking ahead and wanted to share some opportunities to connect and learn, and reset and refresh with us.
Coming up...
Virtual Catch Up (All Welcome)
21 April, 12:30–1:30pm (Free)
Our next informal virtual catch-up is a chance to pause, reconnect, and spend time with fellow facilitators. A number of those already booked are new Affiliate Members keen to meet others and get involved in the community, so it would be great to have some familiar faces there too. Do drop in if you’re able, whether to say hello or to share something you’re working on.

Online Learning Lab: Facilitation Myth Busting and the Perceived Weirdness Index
21 May, 1:00–4:30pm
What do we carry around with us as unexamined truths about facilitation? About ourselves as facilitators? About others as facilitators or group members? About organisations, “Other People” and “The World”. How does these imaginal and attitudinal realms, often out of our awareness, inform and limit our choices and interventions. In our practice, how might we collude with the prevailing culture and dynamics, risking becoming assimilated and ineffective, and what happens when we are rejected.
To aid our myth busting explorations, we will use Jonno Hanafin’s index of “Perceived Weirdness” to explore how we can be most effective as facilitators and agents of change.

Facilitators Retreat – just two spaces remaining
3–5 June, Hazel Hill Wood, Wiltshire
With just two months to go, there are only two places remaining on our Facilitators Retreat this June.
Set in the beautiful woodland of Hazel Hill, this is an opportunity to step away from the usual pace of work and take some purposeful space to reset and reconnect. There’s no set agenda, just time for gentle reflection, optional group activities, and the chance to be in nature, with yourself and alongside others.
If this is of interest, we’d love to welcome you to join us. Find out more and book a place on our website here.
