"How to protect yourself"

Securing your home or business from an unwanted intruder is one of the easiest ways to improve your peace of mind. Today's alarm systems not only deter would-be burglars, but also help prevent the harm done by home invasion or employee misbehavior. Setting up an alarm with door contacts, motion sensors, glass break sensors, and a good monitoring center can eliminate an expensive burglary that can really set you back.

If you do not have a burglar alarm for your home or business, today is the day to make the decision to protect what's yours.

Many of our customers already have one of our high quality Spectrum alarm systems, but as we all know, technology and communication infrastructure is changing rapidly. Analog "landlines" are quickly being replaced with digital phone lines which run through the internet. Some customers are even choosing to use cell phones only in their homes or small businesses. These technology changes and the new choices we make about how we communicate can directly affect how your alarm works. By changing phone service - you may be inadvertently disconnecting your alarm system.

Here is the good news. Alarm cell phone communicators are solving the issues with the new technology. Spectrum / Comlock has been installing Telguard cell phones into our customers alarm systems for several years. If you do not have a Telguard Alarm cell phone, here is what you are missing:

• An alarm which sends a phone signal during an intentional or accidental power outage.

• An alarm which still makes the call to the monitoring center even when your phone lines are intentionally cut.

• An Alarm which still works and makes that important call even when the internet in down.

If you have phone service though a Cable TV Company, ATT U-verse, or other digital systems... your burglar alarm may be at risk.

1. If you are a current customer, check with us to see if you qualify for an upgrade to a Telguard Cell Phone for your alarm. Some of our customers may qualify for a free upgrade!!

    

2. Consider the need for a Telguard cell phone to back up and protect your existing system.

    

3. If you already have an alarm, but are ready to improve or upgrade your system to a Spectrum Alarm, know that we do excellent work, have superior, local monitoring capabilities and we are experts at incorporating older systems into the new technology.
