It’s time to begin this year’s nomination process for keynote commencement speakers and honorary degree recipients. We invite all members of the Pace Community to submit nominations through this nomination form by October 25, 2024.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Commencement Speaker Advisory Committee, co-chaired by Jeff Barnett, PhD, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean for Students, and Joe Sgammato, Director of Executive Communications. The committee includes representatives from our student body, staff, and faculty.
As you consider potential nominees, please remember that our Commencement speakers and honorary degree recipients should embody the values of Opportunitas and serve as inspiring role models. We aim to recognize individuals whose achievements and personal journeys resonate with the Pace Community and honor the graduating class. Ideal candidates often have connections to Pace or the broader Pace network.
