Community Comments Sought
regarding plans for property redevelopment near Mt. Lookout Square
On July 16, local developer R2 shared with our community plans to redevelop four properties immediately north of UDF (1009, 1111, 1113, and 1115 Delta Avenue) into 30-35 luxury apartments, which includes five rentable townhomes at street-level. R2 shared
preliminary concepts at the July 16 meeting; these concepts are posted on the
Development page of the Mt. Lookout Community Council (MLCC) website. This project would
occupy a highly-visible location in Mt. Lookout Square and has the potential to change the look and feel of this portion of the Square.
As the MLCC Board and a small group of community members continue discussions with R2 about the project, we are also gathering comments from the broader community.
