Matthews Chamber of Commerce Announces Relocation After More Than 20 Years

The Matthews Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our relocation after more than 20 wonderful years at our previous location. This move marks a new chapter in our commitment to serving our community and local businesses.

The Matthews Chamber has been a cornerstone of the Matthews community fostering economic growth and providing valuable resources to our members and the greater business community. While we will miss the memories made in the Visitor's Center, we are thrilled to embark on this new journey.

Welcome to our Interns! We are pleased to have two interns at the Matthews Chamber this fall. Both students at UNC-Charlotte, Ashley Legassie & Fizza Ibrahim

Ashley Legassie is a Senior Graphic Design Student graduating Fall 2024 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Ashley enjoys exploring new design trends, new places, and spending quality time with family.

Fizza Ibrahim, is the current Social Media Marketer for the Matthews Chamber of Commerce. Fizza is a senior in college with a focus on digital marketing, bringing experience in email campaigns, audience engagement, and brand strategy to help enhance the Chamber's outreach and community connection. She is passionate about using social media to support local businesses, highlight community events, and create meaningful engagement in the Matthews area. In addition to her role at the Chamber, she has worked in campus initiatives and other professional marketing roles, gaining hands-on experience in brand building and digital storytelling.
