Celebrate Excellence with the Matthews Chamber of Commerce!
We invite you to nominate businesses, nonprofits, and individuals who deserve recognition for their remarkable contributions. Self-nominations are welcome, and nominations are open now—don’t wait to highlight those who make a difference!
Nomination Guidelines:
• Only Chamber members in good standing are eligible for nomination.
• Nominees must be current members or employees of member businesses.
• Detailed explanations are required for all nominations to be considered.
Award Categories:
• Community Impact Award
Recognizing a company or individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to giving back through volunteerism, leadership, and resources, creating a meaningful impact in our community.
• Business of the Year
Celebrating a business that exemplifies excellence in customer service, employee care, financial stability, and community involvement.
• Non-profit of the Year
Honoring a non-profit organization that provides outstanding service to meet the needs of our community and makes a lasting impact.
• Volunteer of the Year
Highlighting an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, business acumen, and dedication to advancing the Chamber and the community.
• Rising Star Award
Recognizes a new business (operating for less than 3 years) that has shown significant growth, potential, and engagement with the Chamber.
• Actively supports and participates in Chamber programs and events.
• Contributes to the vitality and diversity of the Matthews business community.
How to Nominate:
Submit your nominations below and include specific examples of how the nominee meets the award criteria. Incomplete nominations without explanations will not be considered. You may submit nominations for any or all categories—your voice matters!
