February is Unclaimed Funds Month

As the calendar turned to February, it marked the return of Unclaimed Funds Month. Beginning with National Unclaimed Property Day, the Division of Unclaimed Funds is using the month to encourage all Ohioans to search for and claim their missing money.

DOLC Inspectors at Craft Brewers Conference

In January, Division of Liquor Control Investigative Services Supervisors Shaun Powers, Faye Callahan, and Brandon Oliver attended the Craft Brewers Association's annual conference in Toledo. In addition to presenting to members, a table was set up to interact with permit holders.

DIC Inspecting New Wilson Football Factory

While you're watching the Super Bowl on Sunday and see the iconic Wilson "The Duke" football, you can also think of the Division of Industrial Compliance. Since 1957, Wilson's NFL footballs have been made at the company's Ada, Ohio factory. As they now build a new factory, DIC inspectors are regularly on-site making sure it is safe and in compliance with state code.

Ohio Supreme Court Celebrates Black History Month

This Wednesday, Feb. 7, the Ohio Supreme Court will host a special Black History Month program, The Art of Justice: Stories of Black Cultural Expression. The one-hour event features visual artist and arts educator Duarte Brown, and storyteller and poet Lyn Ford. Click here for more information and to register to attend.
