Please join REBA’s Commercial Real Estate Finance Section for a webinar at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 5th. The presenters will be Section Co-chairs Peter Gelzinis of Pierce Atwood LLP and Chris Redmond of Goodwin Procter LLP, who will take the borrower position, and Chris Currier of Pierce Atwood LLP, who will take the position of the lender’s lawyer.
This roleplay program will provide a practical overview of key negotiation points in a commercial loan agreement. This webinar program will benefit lawyers who routinely negotiate commercial documents, as well as those members who may not have significant experience with commercial loan transactions.
Peter Gelzinis and Chris Redmond regularly represent commercial borrowers, while Chris Currier has several years of experience representing regional and national lenders. They will each offer their perspectives and insight on how they approach critical loan terms, including financial covenants (loan-to-value ratio, debt service coverage ratio), borrower representations and warranties, transfers of membership interests in the borrower entity, and events of default.
This webinar program will be the first in a series of programs that will review the basics of commercial loan documents.
