REGIONAL PLANNING

VISION 2060 Committee Shares Input on VISION 2050 Recommendations

The VISION 2060 Committee held its second meeting on June 23 to review the plan’s first technical report, which looks at how recommendations from the current VISION 2050 regional land use and transportation plan have been implemented. To begin shaping VISION 2060, Committee members discussed how VISION 2050’s recommendations have addressed current and emerging planning issues.

The Committee's input is part of a broader effort to ensure VISION 2060 reflects the perspectives of communities and residents throughout the Region. To support that effort, the Commission has launched a new online engagement platform for VISION 2060 powered by Konveio. Residents across Southeastern Wisconsin can browse plan materials, share comments, and participate throughout the planning process. The platform is designed to make it easy to follow along and help shape the Region's long-range land use and transportation plan.
