The theme of the contest, "Kentucky Agriculture Never Stops," honored farm families during the coronavirus pandemic. "These poster and essay submissions are a true reminder and honor of the hard work and dedication our farm families put in during the COVID-19 pandemic," Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles said.

"The fact that we can bring this content to you in an even better, sleeker, easier-to-use interface is great news as people start traveling again," Quarles said.
Kentucky’s 12.4 million acres of forests cover nearly half of the state and are a renewable natural resource. Forest products industries generate and contribute a total economic impact of $13.2 billion to the state’s economy and employ nearly 53,000 people.
