The hearing discussed the “food as medicine” approach to building healthy diets and reducing diet-related illnesses in the U.S.
Kentucky’s beef cattle industry ranks eighth in the nation and No. 1 east of the Mississippi River. About 32,000 farms across the state raise more than 1 million head of beef cattle.
