Commissioner Quarles informs U.S. senators
about Kentucky’s healthy food pathways
Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Ryan Quarles submitted written comments to U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry’s subcommittee on Food and Nutrition, Specialty Crops, Organics and Research. The hearing discussed the “food as medicine” approach to building healthy diets and reducing diet-related illnesses in the U.S.
