"I’m excited to join the Kentucky Livestock Coalition and our commodity organizations for the #MeatMeAtTheTable campaign to encourage Kentuckians to make meat the centerpiece of their meals this month and to support our farm families all year long," Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles said.
"Flowers grown in Kentucky offer just a piece of what makes Kentucky beautiful ... (and) celebrates what Kentucky’s farmer-florists provide," Quarles said.
Kentucky ranks seventh in nation by producing 299 million broiler chickens during 2020 valued at $709 million.
