Santa Fe - As Commissioner Valerie Espinoza nears the end of her term on the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission, she reflects on the next phase of her career. She began her term in 2012. It ends in 2020. She leaves a legacy of utility safety and strong consumer protection policy.
Espinoza said, "The work of the commission is very important to New Mexico. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve in such an important post, and I value the experience and knowledge I have gained over the years."
"I will take that knowledge and experience to further the public's interest in both government and the private sector."
She concludes, "Thank you all for your support and engagement over the last eight years."
