Commissioners face backlash amid health department failure

Inform the Moore County Board of Commissioners of growing displeasure with its leadership and
failure to manage the County Health Department during the Wuhan virus pandemic.

Come out tonight, October 19, and listen to other concerned citizens inform the Commissioners of the county Board of Health’s questionable conduct and decisions as it failed to educate and accurately inform the public about the virus and available treatment options. Meanwhile, the health department continues to promote the experimental vaccines, which have NOT proven entirely safe or effective. The meeting begins at 5:30 pm at the Old Courthouse in downtown Carthage.

Assemble to deliver public comments to hold these individuals accountable to perform the job they are elected/appointed to perform. For many months, the Moore County Board of Education has taken well deserved heat from citizens. The time has come to direct scrutiny toward the commissioners and board of health.

The Commissioners soon will be in transition. Three members will not seek re-election in 2022, which will present an opportunity to shake up its status quo inclinations once and for all.
School board
visitors threatened
by police officer

The chief Moore County Schools law enforcement officer unleashed a series of verbal reprimands on citizens seeking entry during the October 12 board of education meeting in its central office building in Carthage. Visitors who had registered to participate in the public comments phase were forced to wait outside of the board room even as many of its seats were unoccupied.

The board was quick to accommodate a parade of speakers lined up to speak in support of the Southern Pines Land Trust, which previously has cleared most of the hurdles required to purchase the now defunct Southern Pines Primary School.

Those waiting outside were belittled by board chair Libby Carter as posing a threat of disruption to the meeting. As the meeting's public comments progressed, Officer David Frye was dispatched outside its doors to confront his fellow citizens. He claimed they were disrupting the meeting by asking questions about why they were not permitted entry. Frye ordered them to step away from the building and said failure to comply would result in arrest. He did specify the basis on which arrests would occur.

A Moore County Schools spokesperson later told The Southern Pines Pilot that added security was required because of a large public turnout in response to the pending land sale. In reality, the turnout was entirely related to public outcry
School board chair Carter
refutes performance data

Hensley, Holmes, Levy
'wrong' candidates in '20
In a sanctimonious screed published by The (Southern Pines) Pilot on October 13, Moore County Board of Education chair Libby Carter opined, "If the last school board election didn’t show you how dangerous it is to vote for the wrong candidates, then it’s time you start paying attention and become an informed voter.” Carter refers to three newly elected members, David Hensley, Philip Holmes and Robert Levy.

What would have happened in recent months had citizens failed to elect the slate of Hensley, Holmes and Levy?

  • A ban on Critical Race Theory within social studies curricula would have been voted down. Instead, it was upheld, 4-3.

  • Questions about invasive Panorama student surveys and related high costs never would have been raised. As a result, the school board has been forced to survey parents to receive their input about moving forward with in-school surveys about “social-emotional” concerns — among children as young as third graders -- and “climate and culture” concerns while at school. By exposing Panorama, Hensley, Holmes and Levy also have made the community aware that this third party provider will own the data it collects about children.

  • Runaway spending to build new schools in Aberdeen and Pinehurst never would have been exposed and properly criticized.

Without this fervent trio on the board, the Robert Grimesey-Libby Carter fiefdom would be running full speed ahead.
Trump pick
Budd faces

More than one year before North Carolinians go to the polls to elect our next U.S. Senator to replace retiring Richard Burr, Republicans are displaying anew a tendency to eat our own.

Left wing organ The Daily Kos picked up a leaked thread connecting NC Rep. Ted Budd, a Senate candidate, to none other than George Soros, the stealthy, wealthy investor who funds the most extreme radical Left candidates. Soros owned 7% of a business built by Budd's father before Ted Budd was anything more than a shareholder in dad's company.

A recent mass mailer attempts to tie the bankruptcy of Budd's father's agri-business to the loss of jobs for many in the labor force. Shades of 2012 baseless claims against Mitt Romney who "killed" people by transacting mergers and acquisitions.

Why is the imminently qualified Budd already under siege? Last summer, during the state GOP convention, Budd was endorsed by President Donald Trump during Trump's live appearance in Greenville. The Never Trumpers have drawn the long knives.

Candidate registration
for 2022 opens Dec. 6

The candidate filing period for 2022 races is fast approaching, even as prospects for opens seats weigh the recent re-drawing of Moore County's districts based on the 2020 U.S. Census.

Candidates can begin filing at noon on December 6 until noon on December 17, 2021. The new map (below) was approved by the Moore County Board of Commissioners on October 5. Three seats on the commissioners board will be vacated in 2022, District 1 (Catherine Graham), District 3 (Otis Ritter) and District 5 (Jerry Daeke). All are registered Republicans.
Voter registration is
never out of season

Consider these compelling data points provided by the North Carolina Republican Party
  • Registering people to vote is a core component of the North Carolina Republican Party’s mission.
  • Since November 8th 2016 there have been 1.8 million new voters in North Carolina these new voters make up 25% of the states total electorate
  • Currently there are 2.17 Million Republican Voters in North Carolina, while simultaneously there are 2.42 million Unaffiliated voters. This means over one third of North Carolina’s population is made up of unaffiliated voters. Voter Registration allows us to target those unaffiliated voters!
  • Through Voter Registration we’re growing the Republican Party.
  • Newly registered voters are more likely to vote AND volunteer for the campaign.
  • Voter Drives are an excellent way to stay proactive with your local county base!
By the numbers

In a span of 25 years, the flu vaccine was attributed to less than 1,700 deaths reported on the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Reporting System (VAERS). That’s CDC’s early surveillance security system. With the Wuhan virus vaccine, we’ve had 16,766 deaths in 10 months.” (Source: Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson appearing on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures, October 17, 2021)
Virginia Tech bans
F--- Joe Biden chants

Your editor's alma mater was ground zero for the now widespread F___ Joe Biden chants at football games. Today, the woke administration decreed that free speech is off limits at Virginia Tech home football games in Blacksburg, VA.

The university released a statement which included a threat that the "Virginia Tech Police Department will deploy law enforcement ... to support a positive and safe fan experience."

If you're pro-freedom, anti-Biden, you are a "safety hazard".

"Demand is off the charts. Retail sales are through the roof. Every one of those ships (waiting to anchor off the West Coast) is full of record amounts of goods that Americans are buying because demand is up, because the president has successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession."
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, just back from an extended paternity leave after adopting a baby with his gay partner, uses every cliche he can think of to disingenuously credit the Biden administration for supercharging the U.S. economy that supply chain shortages are a positive trend (said no one ever).
