All Saints Sunday is a time to remember, recall, and reflect on the saints who now rest from their labors. We are also continuing our 2024 Cross Roads Stewardship Season. Cross Roads exist because we live in the legacy of saints who were faithful stewards.  We invite everyone to continue that legacy and commit their time, talents, and treasures to furthering Cross Roads’ mission and ministry of sharing the good news of Christ’s love with ALL. Our worship series is entitled Committed to Christ. We are exploring the various ways the Holy Spirit inspires us to be committed to Christ. Last Sunday we focused on prayer. This Sunday we focus on reading scripture. Jesus Christ was an expert in the scriptures. He was the living embodiment of scripture. As we worship, may we be inspired to commit to reading scripture so that we are equipped to share good news with  the church, the community, and the world.

Singles Supper Club

All Saints Day

Sunday, November 3rd is All Saints Day. On this day we celebrate the lives of those who have past in the last year. Food Bank In Need of Donations

Cross Roads has supported Desert Mission Food Bank for years in order to be able to provide our community with the basic needs they deserve. Below is a list of the donations that are acceptable. All donations should be unopened, labeled and in its original packaging. Heart-healthy foods that are low in sodium and fat are encouraged.

• Whole wheat pasta
• Whole grain cereal
• Low sodium canned veggies
• 100% juice
• Chicken and tune in water
• Low sodium canned beans
• Dry beans
• Natural peanut butter
• Bottled water
• Hygiene products
• Baby formula (orange or blue Similac for ages 12 months and younger)

Liturgist Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to participate in worship. We need volunteers to read scripture, and lead us in prayer. If you are interested sign up in the Lobby or speak with James Pelfrey.

Nursery Attendants Needed

We are looking for volunteers to serve as pre-school attendants to supply help with our toddlers during worship. Volunteers would help Rev. Mary and Tom during children's time.
