Message from President
 Bonnie Chapman

Greetings Soroptimists!

What did the fish say when he swam into a wall?

Dam!!

Welcome to our first 4 th week of the month without a regular lunch meeting. All 6 committees will be meeting this week on Wednesday or Thursday.  I have had positive feedback about our new schedule and will be interested to see what people think after a few months of implementation. I hope that one benefit will be our members will return for our  first meeting of each month energized and eager to reunite with the larger group.

Please take time to read the message about the Walk to End Alzheimer's volunteer sign up and also details about the final weeks leading up to the Walk for Team SI Chico. Each week I feel more encouraged by all of your efforts and know we will make an impact. Thanks for your support.

Thank-you to Billie and the Work Training Center for hosting our first After Hours of the year.  I hope we will be able to have a few more of these special events so please consider stepping up and having us over to your place of business for some learning and some fun.

It's another great week to be a Soroptimist!

With Gratitude,

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! The Alzheimer's Association would like our club to work the registration table. This is an event where over 1,000 people will be in attendance. Registration is a highly important and visible area. Not only will we be providing great assistance, it is an opportunity to promote our club with a very wide local audience. We have to confirm our number of volunteers with Jody by Friday, September 28, please click on the sign-up link below to volunteer.

NOTE: All walkers on our team are invited to also volunteer. The volunteer work will be finished before the walk begins.
