Calling all volunteers! The city of Rosenberg is currently accepting applications for citizens interested in serving on two committees and a task force. These are volunteer positions essential to the operation of City government who provide valuable insight and direction on various City issues and events.
Open positions currently include:
- Image Committee (minimum 7 positions)
- Must be resident of city or owner of property or a business located in the city
- Water/Wastewater Impact Fee Advisory Task Force (2 positions)
- 1 position for Real Estate Industry/Development Rep
- 1 ETJ Citizen Rep
- Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) Evaluation Committee (1 position)
- Must be resident of city or owner of a business located in the city
Citizens interested in serving in the positions may read more here, submit the application online here, can fill out the application here, and submit to City Secretary Danyel Swint at dswint@rosenbergtx.gov or deliver in person or via mail to City Secretary, 2110 4th Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. All applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27. Service on a City board, committee, commission or task force is a privilege and responsibility, which could involve a significant time commitment. Citizens must pass a background check before they can serve and if appointed, are expected to attend meetings as scheduled and be an active participant.
