Help on Sunday

This Sunday Emily will be out so we need some extra help with the Welcome Table. This means Baker will be there to help out but we hate leaving him alone. Let's make sure we have a full sign-up so he doesn't have to chase down help. Can you lend a hand to help people feel welcome or pass an offering basket?

The UU Universe: To Boldly Go

It's time for Common Flame's 2nd Annual Lay Leader Training! Join leaders from across the congregation for a day of connection, inspiration, and practical ideas as we explore leadership, community engagement, and how our ministries can thrive together.

Committee chairs, team leaders, and group facilitators are strongly encouraged to attend. Can't make it? Please send a representative from your group. This year we're opening the event to everyone, so if you're curious about leadership at Common Flame, you're welcome too!

Breakfast, lunch, good company, and a questionable amount of candy will be provided. Childcare will not be available.

Family Promise Help Needed

Our Family Promise guests will arrive on Sunday, July 5, and we need your help welcoming & supporting them. Stop by the Family Promise table in the Commons on Sundays to learn more. Sign up at the table, or using the signup link (remember to look through the tabs, there's more than one sign-up sheet on the link).

Golden Circle BBQ

We got some more signups to help out including Jake Gedvilas signed up to be a griller! Thank you Jake! I need to grab him some help though. Can I get someone to help out with this as well so he's not on the hot grill by himself the whole time? Come help out our ages 70+ and give them a great BBQ!

The Harvest Table

Harvest Table is powered by a small group of dedicated folks, many in their 70s, who do a lot to keep it going. Equity reminds us that the work shouldn’t fall on the same shoulders every week. If you’re able, signing up is a simple way to share the load and support the people who support all of us.
