Muffins with the Ministry Team

Thursday, June 4 | 10 am - 12 pm | Common Flame members 70 or better are invited by the ministry team for connection, and conversation. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing the monthly theme, and breaking into small groups for deeper conversations. Bring muffins to share! 

Housing Brunch

Saturday, June 6 | 10 am - 12 pm | Join our housing justice teams AND our immigration support team to celebrate the victories of the past three months, discuss the intersection of housing and immigration justice, and learn what's coming up!

Sunday, June 7 | 11:30 am | Discover the welcoming spirit of Common Flame! This class helps you understand the heart and soul of our community. New Here is required for becoming a member. This class will not have childcare.

Youth Book Club

Wednesday, June 10 | 6:30 - 8 pm | 10+ | Are you curious about a kid-led book club? If you love reading, want to read more, or share your favorite book with others, please join us for an evening of all of the above! This group will be led by our kids and monitored by our trusted adults. A pizza party will be offered at the end of our summer session.

2026 GA Delegates: Application Open!

June 14-21, 2026 | Common Flame is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association & eligible to assign up to 13 delegates to the annual national assembly, June 14-21, 2026. The assembly will be held online. Any member in good standing is eligible to serve as a delegate.

Colorado Trail Picnic Lunch & Trail Maintenance

Saturday, June 6 | 7:30 am | $20 | Help take care of our beautiful CO mountain trails and have fun doing it! We'll do maintenance on the Colorado Trail at Kenosha Pass and have a gourmet picnic lunch. All ages & abilities welcome.

Karaoke Party!

Saturday, June 6 | 5 pm | $25 | Dream of being a singer? Or do you need an outlet to perform? Come join the Cross Crooners for an adults-only event to sing your heart out! Drinks and heavy appetizers will be provided.

Best Picture Series: Million Dollar Baby

Saturday, June 27 | 6 pm | $25 | Wear your gym attire for a healthy boxer's dinner, followed by a viewing of the 2005 Best Picture winner Million Dollar Baby. It'll knock you out!

Allies in Action II

Sunday, June 14 | 11:30 am - 1:30 pm | We'll present a range of opportunities to engage in action: direct outreach, policy change & neighborhood groups to set up communication to better respond to emergencies. We'll use our map to connect neighbors & build on groups that are already forming (map will be available on Sundays in the commons).

Queer Social Justice Group

Monday, June 22 | 6:30 - 8 pm | We are a group of queer people & allies committed to raising awareness of issues affecting the queer community. We will turn that awareness into action, including but not limited to, helping our unhoused neighbors find refuge and helping our queer youth find safety and community.

Accessibility Conversation

Sunday, July 12 | After the service | Open to all ages and abilities! We'll discuss how we can make our spaces more accessible for those of us with physical & mental disabilities. We also ask that our neurodivergent siblings add their voices to how we can better create beloved community for all. Rev. Jen will be facilitating the conversation.

Summer MUUsic & Arts Camp

August 10 - 14 | 9 am - 3 pm | Our annual Children’s Music Service & Summer Camp have joined forces! Children & youth will present our Children’s Music Service on August 16 after a week of learning & rehearsing our program. Singing, acting & dancing optional. We'll have plenty of opportunities for everyone!
