The Youth Theater Project (YTP) Free After School Program and Internships
This 9 week program focuses on collaborative play-making, improvisation, and stage skills as participants work together to create and then perform in their own one-act plays. The San Francisco Mime Troupe is a Tony Award winning political theater company and during YTP, students are allowed to explore and expand their own political views: they have the chance to choose the content of their own show! The program begins in February and runs through mid April. There are 2 different groups that each meet three days a week (either M/W/F or Tues/Thurs/F) from 4:15-7:15pm. On top of the social and performative skills that are gained in YTP, participants also receive free meals during each class and a small monetary incentive for transportation purposes. No previous experience needed. More information and application
