Garden Club
Gardening Class is looking for donations of plant containers/pots/planters of all sizes, from small to extra large and sturdy patio furniture (tables and chairs). We will also compost your decomposing pumpkins! Drop items off in the garden or contact Mr. Berthiaume to coordinate pick-up or drop-off.
Robotics Wishlist
The robotics team is looking for supplies. Please check out their WISHLIST and donate if you can!

The Gator Store still needs donations of chicken Cup of Noodles, Starbucks gift cards, and AMC gift cards. The store moved to the cafeteria so that it has it's own

Student Opportunities
BEETS is Hiring!
BEETS (Band of Environmentally Educated and Employable Teens) is a paid youth internship program at
CommunityGrows
open to all high school students (the application says 15+, but high school students of all ages are encouraged to apply). This year it will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4-6pm at Koshland Community Garden in the Western Addition. Students start at the pay rate of $12 per hour. The program starts on November 28th and ends on May 16th. Students are trained in urban gardening, food justice, career readiness skills and youth education. Student Job/Internship Survey from Mayor Breed
As part of Mayor Breed's efforts to provide paid internships for youth in San Francisco, she has launched Opportunities for All to address economic inequality to ensure that all young people can be a part of San Francisco's thriving economy. Opportunities for All will hlep bring new and exciting opportunities to Gateway students. World Affairs Scholarships
Engage in the world and have an international summer experience you remember for life by studying Arabic in Jordan, cooking in Italy or peace-building in South Korea! Each year, World Affairs, in partnership with the Experiment in International Living, fully funds Bay Area students to spend 4-6 weeks abroad! The Experiment and World Affairs invite high school sophomores and juniors from the Bay Area to apply for full scholarships. Each scholarship covers the cost of the program fee and international airfare. They will be hosting a Study Abroad Info Session on December 6 from 6 - 7:30 PM at World Affairs in San Francisco, RSVP

¡BEETS está contratando!
BEETS (Banda de adolescentes Educados ambientalmente y Empleados) es un programa de pasantías pagadas para jóvenes en el CommunityGrows abierto a todos los estudiantes de secundaria (la solicitud dice que es para estudiantes de más de 15 años, pero se alienta a los estudiantes de secundaria de todas las edades a aplicar). Este año se realizará los Lunes y Miércoles de 4 a 6 pm en Koshland Community Garden en Western Addition. Los estudiantes comienzan con un pago de $ 12 por hora. ¡Becas de Asuntos Mundiales!
Participe en el mundo y vive una experiencia de verano internacional que recordará por el resto de su vida estudiando Arabe en Jordania, cocinando en Italia o construyendo la paz en Corea del Sur! Cada año, World Affairs, en asociación con Experiment in International Living, financia completamente a los estudiantes del Área de la Bahía para pasar de 4 a 6 semanas en el extranjero. El Experimento y los Asuntos Mundiales invitan a los estudiantes del 10o. y 11o. grado de preparatoria del Área de la Bahía a solicitar becas completas.
