Video: Lester remembers alumna Beth Dunlap
•
•
Lester School remembered and celebrated alumna Beth Dunlap on April 18. Students participated in several “18” themed activities, in honor of Beth's volleyball number, 18. After school, the Lester staff played the DGN volleyball team. Students, staff and families made donations in the form of 18 (i.e. 18 pennies, 18 dollars, etc). With each donation, the donor could vote for the team they thought would win the game. Lester raised an incredible $764.18, which will be donated to the Beth Dunlap 18 Fund, which serves underprivileged volleyball players. What a wonderful way to pay tribute to Beth!
“We are so grateful to the girls from DGN who came to Lester to play in honor of their teammate,” said Lester Principal Carin Novak.
