District relaxes some school visitor guidelines ••
|
|
Throughout the pandemic, District 58 restricted school visitors to only those who were essential. We are pleased to share that some restrictions have been loosened.
• District 58 schools will be open to PTA-sponsored events, clubs and activities.
• Adult school visitors who visit a District 58 school on an ongoing basis must be vaccinated or submit a weekly COVID test.
• Outside groups may rent space at District 58 schools outside of school hours, in a similar manner to before the pandemic. Any group that rents space must agree to follow the District's COVID-19 protocols.

You can still sign your child up for weekly COVID testing ••
|
|
District 58's optional weekly COVID-19 screening program began last month. District 58 is thankful to provide this additional layer in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
It's not too late to sign your child up for this program. The weekly test only takes a couple of minutes to administer from the convenience of your child’s school. Families can select from any or all of three types of testing services including:
• Weekly screening testing (routine testing)
• Symptomatic testing (testing when a student or staff member develops symptoms at school)
• Test-to-Stay (testing for situations in which a student has been identified as a close contact while correctly wearing a mask at school)
