With regard to weekly testing of staff for COVID-19, there are no positive or presumptive positive cases to report at the present time. If that should change, residents and families will be notified promptly.
Patio and window visits and virtual visits via Zoom and FaceTime are ongoing. For scheduling assistance, please call the Reception Desk at 518-370-4419.
Caroline Thompson is finishing her first week on the job in her new role as Ingersoll’s Executive Director/Administrator. She will continue to fulfill her responsibilities as Finance Manager until that position has been filled. Recruitment is underway.
Another new appointment has been announced this week. Amber Zoller, Lead Concierge/Reception Desk, has accepted the position of Assistant Case Manager. Amber, who’s been on staff at Ingersoll for nearly four years, is a recent graduate of SUNY Schenectady with an associate of science degree in human services. Amber will work under the supervision of Kim Towne, RN, Resident Care/Nursing Director. She will remain in her current position until the Reception Desk opening has been filled.
Special thanks to Melanie Axel-Lute, center, for donating an assortment of quilted walker bags and “fidget quilts.” These beautiful items, for use by residents, were hand-crafted by Melanie who delivered them during last month’s Assisted Living Week. Accepting the gifts on behalf of Ingersoll were Unit Leaders Carrie Sheldon and Annie (Cookie) Crocker. (See photo below)
